I became a wedding photographer because I lost my job and didn’t want to return to the 9-5. I have always loved taking photos, and this career allows me to do what makes me happiest—capturing beautiful moments and reliving them during the editing process.

How It All Started

My love for photography began when I was 15, reviewing the images I had taken of my family playing outside on a warm July evening. But the moment I truly fell in love was during a family trip to the Lincoln Park Conservatory with my first camera, a Canon Rebel T5. I took a close-up photo of a flower, and the rich colors and crisp focus amazed me. That single moment made me realize the power of photography—to freeze time and preserve beauty forever.

What Makes Me Stand Out?

I’m a people person with a knack for reading situations and keeping things smooth. My past experience in customer service—cold calling, front desk work, and even delivering pizzas—helped me develop strong interpersonal skills. In photography, this allows me to move through a room, capture genuine emotions, and diffuse stressful moments with ease.

Unique Approach: I’m not just a photographer; I’m someone who understands that most couples aren’t models or artists. They just want their wedding day captured beautifully without feeling awkward in front of the camera. I use my artistic perspective to guide them and make the process effortless.

What Clients Love: Couples appreciate how easy-going I am, even when unexpected challenges arise. No matter the situation, I go with the flow and keep the focus on making them feel comfortable and confident.

Why Chicago is the Perfect Backdrop

📸 The Dynamic Cityscape – Chicago is a playground for wedding photography. From the iconic Chicago Riverwalk to the serene shores of Lake Michigan, the city’s mix of historic and modern architecture makes every wedding shoot unique.

🍂 Seasons of Love – Chicago’s four seasons each bring their own magic. Whether it’s a summer wedding by the lake, a cozy winter ceremony, or a fall celebration with golden leaves, I love adapting my photography to match the mood of the season.

🌎 Cultural Diversity – One of the most rewarding aspects of being a wedding photographer here is capturing weddings from diverse backgrounds. I’ve photographed South Asian, Hispanic, African, and European celebrations, each rich with traditions, colors, and emotions that make every wedding special.
